trees shade
while the leaves play with
       the sun and wind
in a game that still makes
       God laugh

a game of life?
     no
a game of being
     yes
a game that revels in the
       existence of being
more than being alive

the leaf exists
so that the sun may shine
and that the wind may blow
for without the leaf
the sun could not caress
and the wind could not whisper

the trees would not grow
and
the secrets of the shade
would not be shared
       with the grass

This brought back a memory from my high school days. We had a biology teacher who tried to fool us into believing that the leaves movement on the trees was what caused the wind to blow.

Wonderful Sven!
Yes, I can imagine God laughing
at the game of being.
I'm keeping this one and I know
you don't mind at all...
*I know someone I want to send this to
and she will read it..and smile*
~Thank you...Hugs~

This reminded me of the many days fishing under the willow trees, what a beautiful expression....very nicely one sir...

(smiles) Yes, and this also comes to show that everything is interdependcent of something else and the sun makes the leaves as the water makes them healthy and shade is what protects them! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love the way you think, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
