Through Noon & Half Past Dusk

Come with me
to that dark place
where lazy clouds sit beneath trees
walk with me
on rose petals
in the dessert of the road
I soar above the sun and moon
through noon
and half past dusk
dust settles on what is standing still
I am forever in movement
and motionless
settled in a thick forest of emerald trees
ivory leaves and golden branches
If you would stroll with me
through my mind
our minds intertwined
we could be love

Thanks everyone! You're all so nice here! LoL! I thank you all for the kind words, but I am thinking my poetry is a *bit* inferior to most of you *smiles*
Thanks again

LilTai,
Welcome, don't feel inferior we all write as we are led. I think your last line is almost perfect. "We could be love" it says so much.
Write on

Noah sweetheart,
*hugs* thank you so so much for what you said!!  You are a true angel...replying to everyone's writing, finding the time to write your own (perfect) peices, and still being so kind about everything you do.  Thank you so much, you are very, very appreciated

I love the paradoxical tone to this poem...
its very beautiful.
