I play the piano
I'm a little off key

I may sing sad songs
now and then ...

... it's just me being me

I stand
back to the wall
and sometimes I will cry

It's just the way you
make me feel ...

... no matter how I try

I wait
to hear the words
the sound of love returned

It would just make it
all complete ...

and my lessons well earned

Playing the piano
with my heart feeling blue

helps me find rhythym
in my soul ...

... the sound of love for you

create an addiction .... share a smile!!

I used to play my feelings on the piano, but now it is too old (or am I) and I write them instead.  I really liked this honest tender poem.
