Making you believe things just not true How he did it, I will never ever know You had a family, who really loved you I watched mom each day worrying about you Wondering what she might have done so wrong To make you turn so far away from us While you sat there on your precious throne Were all of the beatings that he gave to you Worth not having the ones who loved you so I will never understand why you chose to stay With a man whose love he never did show I do not believe a man loves a woman When all he does is beat her, making her cry A man like that doesn't have love in his heart He is just full of nothing but so many lies You had no reason to put up with his abuse With a family who loved you more than gold It has been so long since you turned on us And, now, mom and dad are growing old They didn't deserve all of the pain you have caused By Sue 6-10-02 |

it's sad...people change, or stay the same, and I'm glad I got out of my relationship before it really hurt my kids. Good write to express the pain of staying, and being in the middle. [This message has been edited by passing shadows (06-10-2002 02:51 PM).] |
