Pick a feeling. An emotion. Something out of the ordinary. Write about it.

I'm not talking about sad, or mad, or happy.

I'm talking the feeling you get on a roller coaster ride, or when you feel a cool breeze in your hair. A feeling like you get when you dipped your feet in the ocean for the first time, or threw your first snowball.

Let's get it done.

Hey good challenge Kaoru. Heres my poem about having a hangover.

Bottles of Booze

Razorblade thoughts
every morning,
waking up dead again.
I canít understand
the clock anymore,
there is no meaning
to me.

Hard nights of drinking,
painful days of thinking
of the tears and fears,
killing the pain
with the fog.

bottles of booze...
the cold dirt
I use to bury you.

Larry Silverstein bought the Twin Towers 5 mths before 911 bombing. He already owned bld 11. He took out "terrorist" ins on them. He won 500 million.

It burns, my soul yearns
My fever wont break
This venom wont take
I keep my eye on her
For loves sake
Though I promise
Much more is at stake
Loving another is
Like a being apart
Of birds of a feather
And when your together
Always and forever
Never comes for
Those like me
Such an eye-soar
But those will see
A voice and a mind
A choice to make it shine
Is too hard to find
Such a shame
This world is too unkind.

Feeling: Lost, Confused, Heartbroken.

I actually felt that. It was sad and hurt.

Apathy

Your heated snarl,
pulled close, pink-
Darling why? I`ll tell you-
tomorrow, perhaps
or Tuesday night,
after the laundry
dries on the line:
if it stays out all night
the dew gets them.
And too,
I haven`t time.

whats there?
it cant be sorrow
all the tears have washed that away,
it cant be joy
theres none of that left,
regret
lament
its all gone
and all that remains
is an empty void inside

Here we go:

Discombobulated

Swirling tumble,
twirling jumble,
tossed and turned,
and inverted spins.
Misty movements,
of disconcerted eyes.
Roiling thoughts,
bubble through constantly,
adding deeper frets,
into this furrowed brow.
Confusion is but fancy,
as the mind attempts,
its denial fate's aria.
Eternal fall of man,
into depths of unknown.
Dangerous slips haunt
as struggles for solidity,
continue incessantly.
Wishful hopes,
candy cane dreams,
replaced by the cacophony,
of ignorant screams.
God it's great,
to be human.

Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn.

Left my heart at home
Knowing what needed doing
So, I did it

Brought my mind along
Couldn't leave it behind
So the feelings tagged along

Feelings aren't always of love
Those remained with my heart
I knew what needed doing

Out along the old back trail
I found him eating his spoils
She made his last meal

I cut him in two
with a sweep of my blade
For the deed which he'd done

Now comes that long walk home
Sister's remains in my bag
Half eaten by her killer

When the cabin smoke appeared
There was relief in my soul
But my heart wouldn't wait

Now if you trek through the woods
Stay away from the cabin that smokes
For it leads to a heartless man

Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here...
