I  am arrogant and self-depricating
I wonder if I will be a good father
I hear the regrets of my alter-egos
I see my timeline as a slippery slope
I want to feel satisfaction
I am arrogant and self-depricating

I pretend I have to help everyone else
I feel a fire inside
I touch my demons
I worry they will leave me
I cry at my wasted chances
I am arrogant and self-depricating

I understand why you left
I say I deserved another chance
I dream of simplicity
I try to be the best
I hope to one day succeed
I am arrogant and self-depricating

I think you have done an admirable job on this. I look forward to reading more from you in the other forums.

For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.
