Tanabata
was originally the seventh day of the seventh
lunar month but now is usually celebrated in August.

Read the tale;
write a poem; post it on the main site
for people to see.

the leaking boat of my love
will sink with the two rocks
if not lifted up by your wings

Do you miss me
As I have missed you
In my sleeps and dreams
the wholeness of passion hue ?

Do you long for me
As I have longed for you
In my dark day and dim night
for a warmth of  the  sun lights imbue ?

Do you feel lonely
As I have felt
In the silent place
the void of flowing air anew?

Do you sense the helpless
As I have sensed
In my empty arms
In the untouched body too?

and

Do you want to hold my face,
To admire, to kiss
To whisper all your affection again
When you have me gently embraced?

Ah, how I want to fly to you, my brave,
In borrowed wings

If not
Iíll have all my tears saved
For the Silver River
To have a wave.
