Dreamy floating steam
before you wrap me with kiss
Pray defrost your hiss

Summer heat
Fresh cake from oven
Burning taste

Berry Picking
in  Underwood Family Farm

Under the hot California sun,
In the shadow of walnut trees
I made my lunch a dream

Those little souls
Who never heard songs
From young peaches
Giggled with them
By the strawberry lawn

I cry to the heat
to all the smiling faces
Of my food in green leaves
When I done my sleep.

Little girl cries big waves
at her dripping ginger Ice Cream
Mother turns over
to tan other side of her dream
the dog
with such a long tongue
quenches with a lake's beam

and the old willow tree naps
in cicada's scream

Summer Heat

Donít run too fast, dear,
Look at all the sweat
Go take a shower
In the memory of last winter
Then, you looked so cool.

You climbed in so quietly
And kissing me to my faint
You wrapped me in so tightly
And you left without a print

Where can I find  you, my love
A such  selfless being?
If only you come in now
To take me out of the pot.
Oh,  jet stream of the pole.

Burning Desire

Ah, Burning Desire
In this cool morning
I came out to adore your glare

Donít mock me
With your flushed smile
In the mist of summer

And donít push me
As you did in my dream
Into the pool of heated water
In empty-armed

Burning DesireÖa red color rose.

You wanted to stay then I had to leave
I went into the mountain to sit by the stream

Blue sky sifted through golden weaves
Green breeze danced with silver lace

Summer colors was flower seas
Morning wind sighed soft waves

I pretended that I was a young sapling
Waiting for hives from buzzing bees

I collected a handfull of birdís gleam
For the little fish that wandered in team
for  the  solemn pebble who courted
his lover, his bubble in  rainbowís theme

I jumped from shadow to shadow
A hide and seek with summerís glee
in and out of the dream of the tree
chased  butterfly and spilled his tea

I ride back home in Sunís beam
you still sat in sizzling scream
I opened the door and turn on the fan
For your spring promise,  leave.

Summertime

In the revolving weeks and months there comes a time
When the sunlight is a curse, the noon a burden
When time ekes by a lone cricket chirp at a time
And water flees the uplands and hides in valleys

A walk is a battle Ė a struggle against heat
Sallying from shade-port across to cool shade port
Dodging the million minions of a tyrant sun
As all of us below endure the long scalding

Soft velvet curtain
The magic hand of the moon
Dust off  dream of June

Two trees,
Leaves brush leaves,
By the sea smiling a rainbow
To the setting sun

A telescope looks at the sail
erasing the last smear of light
of faraway and Silently
handing over the crown of the night

A girl and a boy
Against the white railing
Kissing passionately
They left the summer heat
The only hope of growing fruit.

Don't love me,
with the dreaded summer heat
leave me alone
in the shaded cool place
so I might
dream a coolish dream

Dream in deep blue sea
Jump out for a breath of poem
caught by summer heat

Donít whine
My love,
For the winter shrine

In this hot summer
I still keep the light
With the wax of moon

Boil some water for more heat
Remember keep the ice cubes frozen
If you mix and match the heat will
go on forever!
