LONG TIME NO POST!

(Lonely Hearts Anonymous Challenge)  Those of you that remember me should remember that my husband passed away 2 years ago.  Anyway,  I have been searching for someone to share my life and my heart with but seem to be having difficulties finding someone that can stimulate my body, heart and soul the way that he did.  So~ just to appease my heart, this romanticist is looking to be swept off her feet using poetry.  Anyone up for the task?

i tried looking, and it seems i've nothing but forlorn, love and loss poetry.

that's kind of sad actually.

but here's one about being crazy in love. it's not the traditional kind of romantic, but... well you'll see.

*roundabout*

Spin me 'round now in a circle
Spin my heart like only girls will
feel the world tilt
further blurred still
'Til it makes all of my words spill...

Drivin' through a roundabout
You won't stop the turnin' 'round
we're burnin down
the here and now
The going-nowhere-journey now.

Your love is splendid dizziness
Our lives become a busy mess,
but a willingness
to do our best
Drives us 'round the craziness.

It's not as easy as it seems,
But it's more fun than anything
sweet ecstacy
of bein' free
Circumvent life's big machine.

Driving in circles
roundabout and turn-around
Living on miracles
dizzy love; won't come back down

A pretty girl and a weary boy
A petty world full of eerie noise
the clever ploys
the world employs
To keep genuine love destroyed.

So drive in circles to no end
We'll never lose and never win
let's bathe in sin
with spirits bent
Where you stop, I will begin.

The world is flashing by so fast
It's there and here and in the past
and we just laugh
at people passed
And spend more of your Daddy's cash.

People keep on asking "Why?"
Wondering how we survive...
driving blind
but we don't mind
God, it's good to be alive...

Driving in circles
roundabout and turn-around
Living on miracles
dizzy love; won't come back down

The soul is oftentimes a battlefield where reason and judgement wage war on passion and appetite.
