Actually I joined 11-10-01 and my first post was in reference to 9-11. Otherwise it is a challenge I would have been interested in. Hope you get some people accepting the challenge. |

Well, Hunnie, your little challenge made me go back and realize that my first post, which is also on the Main Pages, was accepted, albeit in its awkward meteric form, and in a fashion that I thought was very well by the poets who were among the first to arrive at Passions. And I have felt welcome ever since. Because you prompted me to "go look"...I came across one of my favorite poets who had responded to it almost a year ago to the day. I hadn't seen her response. I was very pleased to see her name, as she has a similar poem. I don't think I will share it again, in any other form, on the Open forum, as it is, as it is, on the main pages now, but I will link it here for you to review, if you've a mind to do so. Christopher- Very lovely, I liked the thoughts in thios poem, I don't know how your poetry is now so i will have to check it out and see how different it is. I was however very impressed for a first post Larry C- Thank you for the encouragement I understand the feelings not to repost at this time... Sunshine- I liked this poem too, I felt it was set in a happy tone. I will also read your recent poems to see the change. Best wishes, hunnie ps. okaie here is mine /pip/Forum101/HTML/000537.html haha...Wow I changed this poem so much it is so different from what it started out as... hmmm well y'all don't know how long it took me to find the acual first copy(and only) grrrrr I acually went to the archives and looked through every page until i found it... At least I knew what poetry thing it was in or it would have taken me years ahhhh. hmmm who knew my poetry would have changed that drastically well before I murdered almost the whole thing ~fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me~ |
