Talk On I've got rhythm I know I've got rhyme I got rap inside of me so divine Standing in the spotlight Holding my mic Waiting on the oppurtunity to express what is right I've got wisdom; you know I've got words With this understanding; I want the truth to be heard I don't want to be an outcast I've got to real Living in poverty; I've got a heart of steel I have a vision that the poor man on top Not trying to critize someone took a drop I don't like to talk about politics or policys Wake up one morning; you'll be overseas I don't like to salute people; who think they are higher then me I'm just easy as a gentle breeze I like to see the ladies; with their form and their shape I understand the beauty of a beautiful face I like to see the enviroment; go thru the change I like to see the benefit; I know we have gained I like to see the second grader graduate you see It's a great accomplishment because they took advantage of their abc's I like to see the children play late at night Another situation that makes things all right I got more rhythm; I got some rhyme I'll get back with you when I see you on prime time That will be my time to shine |
