Every so often, one needs to clear ones attic of cobwebs. Sometimes the way to do that is to write sheer, utter nonsensical stuff.

So, the object here, is to write nonsensical, stuff.

Compose the first thing that comes into your mind, no matter how strange it feels to you.

I'll bite - but Warning, Warning, Jack Robinson.... - it's a repost of one that I would, indeed, rename as a flight of Whimsey.

I want to fall up

come with me, letís fall up
and not into something deep
I think itís time to do it different
before we go to sleep

for if we fall up, and play in clouds
what a treat weíd find
all our problems now ant-size
all bad habits left behind

fall up with me, not in love with me
you donít even have to be in like with me
but if you come fall up with me
wouldnít that be heavenly?

Come letís talk to angels,
and help them in the choir
now I donít have much of a voice
but if you sing bass, Iíll sing higherÖ

and letís make faces out of clouds
of animals or some such things
and while we play our game just right
letís whip up some sun-rings

since weíre here, letís grab Godís ear
and tell him how pleased we are
for this imagination heís given us
címon with me, letís fall up this far!

What is this? You donít want to play
and fall up with me to far away?
and youíd toss my dreams to reality?
for the truth youíd rather see?

But canít you see? There, in the skies
where up and up is in the blue?
why donít you try just once with me
and let me fall up with you.

Although I need to clear the cobwebs, I'll opt out with a repost also.  If Sunshine can then so can I...right?  Here ya go:

A Super Sunday

Snow has captured the mountains
and down the canyons it breaths
into the empty city streets
around the cement and bricks
of Sunday at three

The sky is a dull gray
and from the house of stone
across the street with door open
I hear loud shouts and cheers
that echo around the branches
of the naked trees

I race across the lawn
and throw myself down
hands gripping the legs of my startled husband
trying to get into the super bowl mood
but the lawn streaks my light blue jeans green
and he falls with a loud thud into the rose bush
and the mood is not good

I look back across the street as loud curses
flip across the parked pick up trucks
and bounce across the street
as I sit on the damp ground with my moaning man
who is looking at me now
with a look that feels like he caught
whatever had been thrown

This seems like a good thing to do
to sit here as the afternoon breathes that cool air
and listen to the human sounds that start
a chaos of dogs barking down the alley
and across the street into the village

Listen I say to his almost smile
the one that is playing now as I take his hand
and pull him toward me
as we both sit perfectly still
while through the neighborís window
on a giant screen
the blurred game is played

Well... This was the first thing that came to mind, so here you go

Chocolate that beautiful delight
It melts in your mouth
With heart rendering fright
It tastes so luscious
You can't get enough
The colors galore
Amazing for sure
White, light, it's all a delight
It comes in squares, circles, and stairs
Eat till you bust
It's a buffet till your stuffed
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate
The special high of my life
Let us eat and eat
For that chocolate must rest
Yes, rest my dear friends
It must stay in my tummy for the "rest" of its life!

This seems fun I'll try it..

This happiness inside my soul
Is something i've never felt before
From this happiness, i'm flying without wings

Right now I can never do anything wrong
This journey doesn't seem so long
I'm acually excited to see another day
I await for arms that are opened up wide

I can now see my light shine
Because of this happiness inside

Thought I'd try this...

The keyboard in my hands
Likes to play and dance.
It runs away from my fingers.
I spell with oft the wrong letters.
When my laptop was new,
Every letter worked.
But now it's been a while
And a couple have been jerked...
My Q hardly works.

Picking through the words
I popped a big one into my mouth
and savored its meaning.
And as it melted down into my body
I was eagerly reaching for some more.
My father's old college dictionary
fells like candy in my hands.
And I don't want to share it with you.

composed at 7:09pm today.
