Since we just spent a good amount of time and energy talking about our favorite Cartoon characters, I figured that I would dredge this challenge up from way back in 2002....

Write a poem (any style, any length) about your favorite cartoon/chartoon character/ multi-cartoon show/ etc.

Who could deny that their favorite bird
was the loveable Tweety and the cat he preferred?
'Sufferin' Suckatash' was Slyvester's phrase,
while the birdy's slick moves kept the cat in a daze.
A cute litte bird, a cute little show
that would make viewers laugh from the first 'hello'.
'I taut I taw a putty tat' make viewers "aww"
while an anvil attack would make all guffaw
So here's to that Bird who can make us all smile
your half-hour slot makes TV worthwhile.
