It has been a long dry spell for my muse. She, the worthless hussy, has done nothing to help me write in so long that I'm considering putting her on the next shuttle flight!

Would you....could you..help me?

all I need is a phrase or two....4 to 10 words strung together....I'll dedicate the poems to YOU.

Thanks....

Okay...

I'll try.

she danced naked in the surf,
frolicking, evading, tempting, sating;
her footsteps in the sand were across my heart
and though she is gone,
though the sea smoothed the beach,
the waters of time have not erased the footprints on my heart.

OK.

...the shadow tongues of memory reach inside the imagery drifting through awareness in my evening's early mist...

Now, for the real challenge, tell your sulky muse to write it like a man.

The truest love was found in the smile of a child as he handed his mother a dandilion.

(If you do get anything from this,,Id appreciate the dedication going to my son Ronny....thank you)

Basically it's all the same,
until it's different yesterday.

Look past the hedgerow, my love.

No longer do you see dandelions blooming.

Instead you glimpse thorns,
eating the early buds of Spring.

It is the same today, as it was yesterday.

The only difference is that today
I feel worse than yesterday
and tomorrow
I will think about how badly I felt today.

The hyacinths will still bloom,
the tulips shall sing
and the lilies will hang their weary heads;

but I -

I will still just be.

Because basically it's all the same,
until it is different yesterday.

Thanks K . . . Love YOU Lady . . .

(Sorry Sharon, I stoledit it)

try these, Sharon...

I speak to you my silent one

-

my rhapsody of lucent dreams

...  (or both in the same stanza)

if these don't do much, lemme know... I have these set of lines which I can't seem to use any ******* way and they are crying out for writers with way better skills than mine

regards
sudhir
p.s. forgive the expletives ...

Um...icebox?

You know me.

Ask me to try to do something like a man, and I'll answer:

"I'll give a shot."

I used the verse I posted above:

You still are welcome to use it if you wish; I simply had to get it out of my head.  Sorry.
