LOL, since so many of you have had fun with my dangling spaghetti story in open, how about sharing yours? Go ahead, dangle those noodles out in the open! PRIZE OFFERED!
The prize? I have an extra copy of Passion's most recent poetry anthology, "Reflections," and I'd love to send it to the lucky winner. If I can print your posts out and share them, I can have a couple of friends help me select the winning write. Remember to send me a link so I don't miss a single thread! I love spaghetti!
HAVE FUN!

I should be back online Thursday. Atleast that is when I'll be connected! WooHoo!!! Hope to compete. Sounds like fun to me.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Kacy,
It seems I'm working on the better late than never plan. But here is my attempt:
Cereal Not Spaghetti

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Hi Midnitesun,

Here's my story /pip/Forum90/HTML/002346.html It's not about spaghetti, but a mess all the same.

Titia

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

LOL at you guys. Snort spaghetti??OMG, what imagery! LOL
Yes, just about ANYTHING about a KIDLET eating should qualify.
After reading Titia's, ANY food mess story qualifies.
I know, I know, there is this ethical(?) thing about changin rules midgame, but honestly, go read Titia's!

nope
I forgot to set a deadline LOL and there've only been a couple who responded.
OK, so now, I'll make October 20 the deadline. That's my daughter's 17th birthday.

ENTER asap, then send me the link to read. I'm going to ask Sara to pick the winning entry.

LOL, Larry. Bribery?  But seriously, there were only two or three entries so far, or at least that's all I know of.
If anyone enters a poem, PLEASE make sure I know about it.

OMG, I am the absent minded poet of this board. Contest is officially extended until Dec 20, since I forgot!!!!! I have two copies of 'Reflections' Anthology set aside to award two winners.
Don't forget to send me the link in an email, so I can print the poem out and have Sara select the two winners.
No bribes allowed
The books would be mailed after the holidays, so as to avoid the Post Office holiday crush.

this is the link to my original spaghetti head write /pip/Forum90/HTML/001266.html

SKETTI LOCKS

When I was just a little girl,
And I was turning three,
I dumped all my spaghetti,
Right over the top of me.

I wore the bowl as a hat,
As the sauce dripped off my nose.
Long noodles hung down from my ears,
And touched my teeny toes.

My little brother saw it all.
~ He laughed and almost died.
Then he called me, “Sketti Locks”,
And my Mommy says I cried.

***Lavada Miller, sweetcollege_girl***

Please come forward and take a spaghetti bow, as you have been selected the winner!
Hip hip hooray! Congratulations!
Now all you need to do is email me with your snail mail addy so I can send you a copy of Passion's Reflections anthology.
What a write, it really had me laughing.

(BTW, I'm thinking that my second spare copy should be given out in another challenge write, hope everyone is OK with that. Next challenge to be given soon....before the end of the year anyway, LOL)

Your luck has just changed then.
Enjoy the book, it is filled with bits and pieces of many fine Passionate poets,
including two who no longer reside
physically on terra firma.
