Can someone (or several) tell me more about duets? Is it basically a poem written by two poets together? I'm really curious about this.

That is exactly what it is.

Interesting huh?

I like doing them because they force me into a different style, and I have learned so MUCH from the people I duet with. (I swear no pun was intended.)

It's what the Passions crowd calls a "Collaboration."

My theory is that the word "Collaboration" was on the tip of someone's tongue but for lack of it, they used the word "Duet," and since then nobody's dared confuse the PIPtalk terminology.

I think "Collaboration" makes more sense officially but as everyone seems to know what I mean by Duet, and it's easier to type, I myself am taken to calling it a "Duet" as well.
