If you knew you were going to die tomorrow. What would be the greatest thing you regret you have'nt done?

One More Chance
~*Marge Tindal*~

This one is so easy
and I can tell you why
My 'thing to do' would be
to kiss my children one more time
before I die~

My mother passed in the mid-of-night
and though I'm sure she knew
I didn't have the chance to say,
one more I love you ~

One more kiss to send her
on her beyond trip
One more goodbye
forever sealed within my lips~

One more chance to say
what I know I'd said before
But, one more chance ...
just one more chance ...
Is a moment I would have implored~

So each day I try to tell her
the impact she had on me
For without her love
I would not have been
the poet of me ~

I doubt anyone can say voice these thoughts as eloquently as Marge. Perhaps she is the heartbeat of the passions forum. Yes, I would want to be allowed to say the I love you's one more time.

Paladin~
I've read and re-read my gut level response here ... I think I'm going to post it in The Corner Pub~
Thank you so much ... seems like a rather fitting Mother's Day tribute to me~

MidniteSun~
Thank you dear for the sweetest response~
I *hug* you~

Everything
I didn't do
today...
Every second
I didn't stop
to think...
Everything
I didn't do--
I'd pray,

for just another chance...

I would have regretted not having my dreams come true...and not being sure everyone I love knows I love them more than  words could say.

Marge:  A lovely tribute to your beautiful mother.  I know she was a blessing to you!
