In a blast of inspiration (or was it snow??).  I've come up with this unique idea.

I need 26 poets (yes, that's right 26 of you. . .) for this challenge. . .

Please sign up here. . . and, when you sign up, please choose a number between 1 and 26.

Details will follow. . . thank you. . .

OK Gang. . .here are the rules. . .

Kethry hit the nail on the head. . . this is an Alphabet challenge. . . the numbers that you picked corresponded to a letter in the alphabet. . . but, I put all of the letters in a hat, and pulled them out one at a time. . . and assigned each a number. . . so, you won't be using the letter that you probably thought that you would be using. . . (isn't that COOL???   )

Now, the rules are simple. . . Every word in your poem must start with the letter that you're assigned yes, every word. . . and, you cannot use symbols (like & or +) or numbers. . .

The poem must be a minimum of 10 words or five lines, whichever comes first. . . and, you can use any form that you would like. . .

Ok. . . here are your assignments. . .

Titia: F
Charisma: K
Siofra: L
Amigo: Y
RosePetal: N
faterider: Q Good luck!!
Krawdad: O
serenity: P
SEA: J
Duncan: M
anonymous female: W
Tracey: T
Bec: R
Greeneyes: V
Kethry: G

Ok. . . those are all the letters that we have assigned right now. . . if you know someone else who would be interested, send them here. . . please post your poems in Open. . . thank you. . . and good luck!!!

(oh, btw, there's a challenge in here for me as well. . . tell you more about that later. . .   )

Oh Sven, I must apologize to you all, I just found out where the Poetry Challenge forum was and read about the challenge from you, I never ever knew the Poetry Challenge had a forum of its own! (sad sigh) Therefore I never actually picked a number! I'm soooooooooo sorry for the person who had the F! I'm sorry, I didn't know the whole challenge was being conducted in here, I thought it was just given openly to Open and we could pick our own letter and write an aliiteration piece from it, again apologies to Sven and the person with the letter F! (sad sigh)

Love,
Noah Eaton

Okay folks, now it starts to get interesting. . .

nakdthoughts:C
alicethruglass:S
Lone Wolf:X Good luck!!
Dave:D Isn't that just convenient??
helen:B
SmartChick:Z We'll see how smart you are!!

Those are all of the letters. . . if you would like, you can pick another letter after the person to whom it was assigned has posted their poem. . . (nakd, I see that you just couldn't wait! LOL)

Noah, don't worry about it. . . it's ok that you did that. . . perhaps others will follow your lead. . .

Dee, I have a special challenge for you. . . I'd like you to write a 26 word poem, with the first letter of every word being the letters that were picked here in order. . . which is:

K, J, N, G, Y, L, 0, P, W, M, F, Q, R, T, V, H, U, E, A, I, C, S, X, D, B, and Z.

OK??  Good. . . now, if you think that you're alone in this. . . don't worry. . .my challenge is going to be the same as yours. . . but, I'm going to use the letters in reverse order. . . so, I'm going to start with Z!!!

Good luck everyone, and thanks for participating!!!!

Sven... the poem is complete....
read it here, if you want....
otherwise, i guess, don't.....
just out of curiosity, since this is a unique challenge indeed, did you have any plan to make maybe an efile..... "the poets of Piptalk present: the alphabet" or something? i think that might be interesting, if everyone who wrote for the challenge agreed to it...
