What do people here think of muses, like the one that Milton invoked in Paradise Lost?

I think an interesting poetry challenge would be for everyone here to create their own set of muses, and write a poem about them.  I'm assuming that muses are the personification of your creative talents.  Therefore, they'd probably be different for each person.

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates who said, "I drank what?"

Wow ... an interesting perspective ...

I shall have to see if I can get my rusty old wheels turning on this one ... thank you!
