For those of you who don't know, a palindrome is a word that reads the same forward as backward, like BOB, or NOON. . .

There are also longer palindromes like MADAM, I'M ADAM or A MAN, A PLAN, A CANAL, PANAMA. . .

If you'll look at my poem in Open #7, you'll see my poem called "Reflecting Love" you'll see that it reads the same way backwards as it does forwards. . . not a palindrome in the truest sense of the word, but palindrome-like in another sense. . .

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it. . . is to write a poem that reads the same way backward as it does forward. . . good luck!!!

Oh, and if you can write a true palindromic poem. . . you're better than me!!!  LOL

Sven,
Please have a look at Open Poetry #7. I have posted a poem for the challenge. Comment and tell me if the poem is any good in your esteemed view...

Thanks.

Ok this challenge scares me...

but after reading yours in open I think I will give it a try...

I'll post it in Open 7

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

--Ralph Waldo Emerson
