You told me you would
never hurt me
and I believed your words
I had my doubts
but you laughed at them
making me feel guilty
after all, you said
that you love  me
so I abandoned my fears
I fell deep and hard
but reality returned
with a blast of cold air
you words were
just words
and my trust  
a sacrificial lamb
