When I was young, I oft get drunk, ...down at the Half-Moon Bar, I'd be too soused to make it home, ...a driving in my car, So I'd take off a stumbling fool, ...a kid with a goofy smile, But half-way home, I'd get real sick, ...In midst of the green mile. well.. give me a break here.. its late... |

I can see dead people walking along as ghosts I can smell the smell of death on any coast I can hear people talking, alive or dead People think I'm nuts, but i swear, I haven't lost my head I've got a SIXTH SENSE and I'll try to help Just please don't blow your brains out, ahh the smell This is the best I could think of, give me a break. |

There is another part of me One I keep hidden From prying eyes Sometimes even when I'm smiling The insider crys I don't like to admit My failings and weakness Call it foolish pride So I lock it away Where no one can see Somewhere deep inside I may appear to be standing tall ... Though I'm really on my knees The insider creates the illusion And so predicts the front that everyone sees Not many dare to question Or to call my bluff It's probably safer... Because then they'd have to admit they too live with an insider ~*Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear*~ |

Poet DeVine challenged this so I gotta do it and be Miss Priss It might take me all night And I could be here a while Trying to use a phrase called THE GREEN MILE Now call me a little fruity but im your average white female, an all AMERICAN BEAUTY Im one of THE INSIDERS with THE SIXTH SENSE I get a bad feeling that puts others in suspence I got a place that I go but their all fools They post a sign on the door "THE CIDER HOUSE RULES" Now the last verse had me going and it took me some time but i did it, I did it Poet DeVine LOL really dumb poem but I used them heheheh Dana |
