. . . I just can't figure one out.

Hey, I'm writing a poem about a woman in my life, and in another poem I saw online the author described his girlfriend as having "eyes that hold midnight." Unfortunately, my girlfriand has these beautiful light blue eyes, so midnight probably wouldn't cut it in the peom I'm writing about her. I need some suggestions on what comparison I could draw to her eyes that fits in the following sentence "eyes that hold ____." I've brainstormed quite a bit on this question, but so far, these were the only things i think of to compare her too:
Eyes that hold the crystal sea
Eyes that hold the flection of the sun on the crystal sea
Eyes that enshrine the blooming of the desert bluebell

Now you can see why I could really use the help. Thanks all for taking the time to read this. Respond or email me with some suggestions.

Eyes that hold the brightness of the day???

Eyes that surpass the soft blue of the sky???

I can see why you had trouble with it!!! I will try to think of more.

Eyes that hold the infinity of cloudless skies.....

This is an old one, but it might jog a few thoughts for you:

Green Eyes

The color of her eyes is trust,
A trust long born of truth.

The color of her eyes is hope,
A hope instilled by youth.

The color of her eyes is fire,
A fire she always stirs.

The color of her eyes is peace,
A peace uniquely hers.

The color of her eyes is heaven,
A heaven yet unseen.

The color of her eyes is beauty,
A beauty beyond the green.

Eyes that hold the laughter of a child

Eyes that hold the joy of my soul

Eyes that pierce with azure arrows.

Eyes that hold the lightning to my thunder.

This one is hard. Can't think of any more. Will try to think of more and get back to ya.

Here's a few suggestions:

Eyes that hold my hearts desire.

Eyes that hold my life's dream.

Eyes that brighten the days of sorrow.

Not really sure, but they're just suggestions. If I can think of anything that sounds really good, I'll let you know.

Eyes that capture the reality of a dream?
Eyes that encase the sands of time?
Eyes that hold within them the passion of the soul?
Eyes that contain the beauty of a summer's evening sky?
Yikes, this really isn't easy...

Okay this is something that i wrote for a guy a while ago and it has a brief description of the eyes
"your eyes, the light blue euphoria that they are, appear to light up even brighter, a secret constellation, more beautiful than any other. I can see them from across the room, luminous, holy, untainted."
don't know if that's what you're looking for, or whatever, but that's all i've got

Eyes that shine with the crystal blue of the sea?

Eyes crystal blue like the sea?

Crystal blue eyes like the sea?

Sapphire gems upon the sea?

Sapphire gems of the sea?

MMMMMMMM I'm stumped for now too

It's not what's "in" her eyes that should be the subject of your query. It's the wonder of how she sees "you" thru her eyes that makes them so irrestible. She sees the best in you.. she is your mirror..

(smile) so now.. go write THAT!
