Okay, here is my first challenge: I have been up for several hours reading different poems by different authors, all valid and pretty good. My only problem is, while I admit that I do this myself, people are using the same words over and over. I'm sure everyone else can see it too. I think that I have rarely seen a bad poem on here, but I want to read something new and innovative, so write a poem for me. Here are the restrictions: 1) You can't use any of the following words: a) love b) shadow c) darkness d) blood e) laughter f) flowers (including the words roses, tulips, columbines, etc.) g) tear(s) h) to hold, hold, held, holding i) sweet j) to cry, cry, cried, crying (and synonyms like "weep", "wail", and "sob") 2) The subject must not be any of the following: a) love b) death c) pain d) happiness e) the end of a relationship f) anything comedic about anyone g) nature h) God I am not trying to do this as an insult to anyone. I find that the poetry posted here is on the whole very profound and beautiful, I just want to see some of you expand your horizons.
