From the archives...

There once was a girl from Nan's Tucket...
Ate scallops and clams by the bucket
With summer her cheer
Ya'll stay 'way from here
Recall this is really My Tucket!!...

Something like this?

Cat Lady writes poems sublime
But can never make limericks rhyme
Tries hard as she can
To make the things scan
But fails 'most every time.

If you want good, clean limericks you should definitely go to the authoritative source.

Edward Lear (best known for "The Owl and the Pussycat") was writing limericks back in the 1800's - when "dirty" was liable to get ya lynched! You can find several listed on the Edward Lear page in Passions' Classical section, but there are many, many more...
