Around the Water

it is around the water
that life begins
where creatures without
zoological prejudice congregate,
humming happily as they feast
Even the trees around its border
lean toward the water
roots drinking their fill
ah, how complicit and satisfied
G*d must be musing over
distorted reflections
that mirror the breezes directions
and stay pudding-smooth around
its emerald edges
above it
upon it
below it
and around the Water
this is where precious
life
lives

Jeff hi there my dear friend how are you I am so far behind with my reading, so I’m glad I get to be one of the first if not the first to say this is quite simply stunning. Your writing is always great, sometimes a diamond drops on these pages of blue and how often that diamond bears the name Jeff as it’s creator. This is exceptional writing my friend really really excellent work. NOW you know why I always look for your work don’t you? Because it is truly exquisite and this one is superb.

Jeff

It is, isn't it...around the water, where life turns and poets go too, for inspiration?  Loved this!

It never ceases to amaze me how significant water is to the survival of all life, and reminds me of how God's word is always refered to the life-giving water for the spirit of man. So true--when we are immersed in,  and drink in the word of God, we grow and find abundant life. Very beautifully done dear!

Jeff darling heart boy and hanger of the moon OH YES!! This is exceptional writing, utterly utterly brilliant. I sought this out because it is such a wonderfully well constructed piece of fine art. The flow within this simply screams quality. You are so multi talented and darling boy this showcases your talent as only one of your sparkling gems really can. I forgive you for being multi-talented, I forgive you for writing time and again words that ring with wonder, I’d forgive you anything because you write sooooooooo well,

Each and every stroke of your pen proclaims your talent out loud. You did pick up I love this utterly utterly didn’t you? Oh good because I do

Wonderful writing absolutely wonderful

Love and warm stuff
As always

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh
