Rain Rain Rain Pouring down
Dreary rain coming down
Makes me want to frown
Why must it rain
Rain makes me want to cry
It makes me want to die
Rain Rain Rain Pouring down

Rain Rain Rain Go away
Never come back another day
Rain stop Before I want to drop away
from this cruel world
Rain Rain Rain Just go away

Rain Rain Rain Pouring down

awww... come now... it surely can't be that bad?  Rainy days are wonderful for curling up with a book or watching movies or cooking something delicious or spending time with someone you love, playing games with kids, training the dog to do tricks, surprising a friend with a letter... ok I'm babbling

Nice piece to show your misery at the rain. We've been in a drought so long and now that we are getting several days in a row of rain, we are celebrating!  So cheer up, throw a rain party - I'm such a girl - when it gets like this I lounge on the couch and paint my fingernails and toenails - and make sure something yummy is cooking in the oven.

Hope you feel better about the weather soon!

You definitely must not live in Arizona! We haven't had much rain at all for the last couple of years. I enjoyed the sing-song quality of your poem. Welcome to our humble home!

In my country it happens to rains a lot, but it teaches one to keep smiling. Did you realize your poem has a song in it? It almost automatically makes me hum. Well done and welcome to Passions.

Hi,welcome, and thanks for reading one of my poems
Ilike this poem, I always feel like the rain is a heavenly showing of tears, so it makes me sad.
