A gentle rain in darkness falls,
Softly the winds cry a silent call.
Yet it eases not this wanton soul,
The journey ahead is still unknown.

Moonlight amidst the blushing blankets peek,
Yet it lit not the road I seek.
Such sweet sorrow in stillness stir,
A spirit lost... its path unclear... ...

"Everything will be okay at the end ... If it's not okay, then it's not the end..."
(can't remember who said it!)

Sad but a great description of a spirit lost!   Nicely done!

ohh..geez..I'm right there inside of this one. loved the language of this one.

Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion.

Oh! I truly love this. Though not long, it's packed with beauty and sadness.

Yes, this says a lot. I know the feeling, too.

This yearns for a story...
very nice, perhaps a series
of the spirit's wanderings...

I can certainly relate to this Verve, how many times have I made the wrong decision and found my spirit had lost its true path. Very well said!

ethome, Seymour, Marge, TwoHearts & PdV:

thank you all for your wonderful replies ... it's truly heartfelt.

Sandra & Dulcinea:

Guess most of us will have moments like these .... I do sometimes wonder if I would be able to see the answers when they are placed right in front of me ...

Sunshine:

Thank you for that thought ... Hm ... i think i will seriously consider trying my hand at that ...

And thank you, everyone, for dropping in ...
