it was but a dream
I awoke before end
wrapped  around words
that were more than just friend

held in the stillness
a heart wanting more
startled, awakened
the dream left before...

caught just the edges
the memory retrieves
restoring the tidbits
but none that relieves

the wondering thoughts
the ending that of
was it merely of fantasy
or one leading to love...

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

A recurring dream...surely it was one of love Maureen!
Nicely worded!

I will never know e, as I awoke before it came to a conclusion and left me with those words so that I had to put them somewhere,
meaningless as they are *s  Funny thing is..I was  contemplating the lack of need  for posting...not much in me that needs out right now...and then I awoke with that in my mind..
thanks for reading me
