The Bubble

We live within a bubble
Tougher then the toughest skin
And scar it with our trouble
Mental and our phallic sin

We tear and wound the inner wall
With blaspheme and wherewithal
And do not see the lovely green
The sea and land and in-between

We fill the air with noxious fume
And on the land leave little room.
We make our waste to over plus
That comes around and back to us.

We’re shredding up the envelope
Beyond a hope beyond our cope
And I for one sincerely pray
That God will not allow this day

My time is done still children come
Whatever the end his will be done.

Stinkylove...you speak the truth wrapped in your wisdom rhymes divine.I love this metaphor of a bubble for the earth...how very very cool!!! As always, things begin to make sense when we see them thru your eyes of wise. Ive said before...your poetry of conscious & conscience needs to be submitted to Earth Day and environmentalists sites!!
Your wisdom rhymes could help educate the planet!!! and thats very very cool!!
But then you are the poster poet for cool!!

JM,
Randy sheds a tear you are so near and yet so far.
He has set himself to fly, to gather you a star.

You've just described Houston to a "t"... any wonder it's where I reside but never call home? *S*

This is wonderful, Seymour... a wakeup call that should pierce every ear... Well done!

BRAVO!!! Oh Seymour, this is sad but filled with hiope, sweet friend, I believe it is never too late to correct our faults for we are here until His is done and we know what it takes, it only involves finesse to have the courage to do so! (sigh) This is striking, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Excellent and more excellent writing on this one, Sy....Thank you for sharing it.

This is all so very true.  We are totally polluting our air and running out of room to live.  I guess we'll all have to start living on the moon soon.

Seymour again your writing is so very very good. The style and the flow are as always perfect. Mum sends you a kiss and says she’s sorry she’s not been on here today. She’s had me working my fingers off here, and she’s sat there looking at me. Actually she’s been working too but don’t tell her I admitted that This as always is really great writing I love it, you are the most entertaining writer you know, and always manage to make me react to your wonderful poems. Which is the mark of an excellent writer

Seymour, I'm not sure who to quote on this, but I've heard it said that we do not inherit the land from our ancestors, but that we borrow it from our children.  Your write seems to reflect that senitment, very well written.

neat piece. creatively approached. metre precise. quite nice.

my personal hope is that we may, at some point, move beyond this bubble and disperse amongst the bubbles of the cosmos... but, we're being a bunch of near sighted pinheads.
