Hundred dollar walk, million dollar smile
walking down the street, strutting down the mile
Legs from heaven that reach out to the stars
Goddess from Venus traveling to Mars

I thought my eyes had seen the heavens bright
But man, oh man, this dame was quite a sight
I swear the clocks have gone to overdrive
and traffic stands still as those legs do stride

Her clothes the finest I have seen...I tell
on curves defined so elegantly well
Silk shoulders, moist lips, gentle swaying hips
With maybe eyes that stare a heart to skips

If I can catch her as she struts along
I’ll be a keeper as I sing my song
But shoot, I can not walk any faster
Those legs have caused a traffic disaster

Magnus darling boy THIS IS SUPERB, truly awesome, okay yes I say that about them all, but this particular one is mega special. I know you’re unaware of the effect your writing has on the reader. Maybe not but I don’t believe you know how special it is

Anyway back to the subject matter and this poem, again, reading your work is a journey, and a trip that actually starts at one point and ends at another. It doesn’t ramble all over the place, having no direction and no idea of what it should be saying. That’s not to say all poems need to end up in a different place than they began because they don’t, you can have a circle poem, but it does have to move progressively. Or so I learnt when we studied creative writing YOURS ALWAYS DO which is what makes them great pieces of poetic art. Now I’ll shut up, except to say this is utterly utterly divine.

Love and warm stuff

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Barry

You need to watch where you're going, sounds like you have already fallen.

Mushy...dear darling girl...IF you don't
run out of ink with all of the words you
put in your replies....I will be amazed..

Thank You....again and again and again...

Joanna,  How did you know???  Darn,  now the
secret is out...

Martie....I skinned one knee, both elbows,
broke my glasses cause they were fogged over
from my heated breath...and there she went..
on down the street....(Thinking of a Johnny
Cash song).....oooops...Roy Orbison, I think...
See...she has me all flustered....

...I'll bet she's someone even
women would appreciate!  Just in order to
watch the men salivate!

Martie said I fell....Well, it wasn't my toe
that I tripped over...It was my tongue...
