In Your Eyes In your eyes I’ve found the peace I sought The ease from tears that pain had bought Inside your heart there’s sanctuary That you’ve reserved just for me No more will I suffer failure’s pain For your heart has spoken my name Together in love’s security We’ll walk in love’s true harmony In your eyes I found the path to me I discovered what I could be With your soft smile caressing my face I am suffused with warming grace The doubt that always used to haunt me Has disappeared now completely Trusting in your truth I surrender I am yours now and forever In your eyes I found my faith again I believe love can banish pain Before you there were nothing for me I was in turmoil constantly Then you appeared and I found my way Peace is found in whatever you say In your eyes I found my hopes and dreams Love is indeed all that it seems Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire |
