(This is a slight revision of one I posted last summer, in another forum.)

Watching the sun's powerful rays
part the threatening grey clouds,
like spokes on a bike wheel
part the winds of my path,
I thought about how life's journey
seems to split into pathways
of past, present, and future.
And I wondered if our society's present path,
being guided by the past roads we chose,
will lead us to a brighter future,
a brighter future where
Peace, Love, and Harmony prevail,
where we will have evolved to a higher plane
where we no longer find it necessary
to hurt one another.
And I watch for the sun's rays
to break through to our hearts,
to guide us along this new path,
parting the winds of Hate
with spokes of Love,
the way your words
always part
the darkness
and lighten
our load.
Thank you,
kind poet.

yanno? I keep trying to express my heart to our friend, Larry, and all my words come up short. Yet I read these heartfelt poetry hugs, and I cannot help but feel like I am being hugged too.

You are a lovely sister of mine.

Thank you. (one hand reaching out to you, the other is for Larry)

and yes, I paused, before I typed that, in case any were pondering the physics of holding hands and typing!

(smile with me, Larry...c'mon?)

LOL, Serenity, for a minute there I thought maybe you were the poetic hugging octopus. Thank you for your reply, and Larry will no doubt love all these extra armfuls of hugs.

BRAVO!!! Oh Lyra, this is wonderful, sweet friend, yes, it is the spokes that we replace with love that help us work our way through the fogs and flame that hate can sometimes try to drive upon us and work it through with strength! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

So many hearts in here, and once again, yours shines so brightly it is blinding.  Larry will feel this and know he has been hugged.

There is nothing means more to me than
my faith, my family and my friends.

Kacy,
I looked and looked. I think they deleted my response. I can't believe. Please accept my humble apology and know that these words served me well in remembering...today. Thank you dear friend.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
