If I could be so daringly bold
as to ask you quite seriously,
what does the future hold?
Would you feel free to talk?
Or would you say take a walk?
With open mind and open heart
you enter a sanctuary within,
to make a fresh start,
and wish upon the stars above,
that this feeling is real,
that it is true love.
What does the future hold?
It's a question so old,
many stories have been told,
but the question is always new
just for you two.
May the journey begin
and end,
with Love.

Amen! I would tell you what the future will hold...heartache and heartbreak will be there without a doubt, but rejoice, for them to be know you had to be loved!!

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...

Ok, I quoted the whole poem.  Sue me!  Every word was perfect to my moment.  Sometimes, I think there's a connection here...that I'm very grateful for.

I like the way Kay sang her Sera,
the future is not ours to see~
but it is ours to look forward to!

I always enjoy your sentiments and the here and now in your poetry Midnitesun~

Kacy,
Let me go out on a limb and say: whatever it is, it's worth the risk! Yup...I'm sure. But if it's all the same to you, I'd like a report when you get there.

It's never too late to have a good childhood! Woohoo!

az, I am a romantic, so I believe Love is worth every heartache you encounter.

Duncan, smiling at you, and Tracey too. Yes, you were definitely in my mind on this one.
(And it could also be for Noah and Joanna)

Blues, thanks for that reply! Carpe Diem, here, and now! "What ever will be..."
I used to sing that song.

Larry. You will get a detailed report, all right? It's good to have you visit my dribbling again. Funny thing is, this was written with two other poetic couples in mind, and only partly a personal poem.
Yes, Love is worth whatever it takes...even giving up my moose and mosquito fun.
(But maybe not the camelrides!)
