Leaving too early to post tomorrow so I'll do it now.

Beauty has no Shadow

Beauty shows no shadows clear
It’s invisible my dear
It’s a mist collecting dew that
Waters the heart and grows with you

It has no weight or certain state
It’s tied up with your mind and fate
With life that occupies the now
That floats above the why and how

Beauty is a state of mind
Some would say a state of blind
That vacillates within the heart
That some have named a state of art

It is a state of transient
Magic fluid ingredient
And shows in forms that are unique
Unto the humble that would seek

It’s the passion of every core
And the ration of evermore

(smiles) YAY!!! Yes,l passion may be invisible, but it is found in every iota of every lovely thing in the world and its presence is all around us in every work of art and every song we sing! And reason only goes to show
why I need to have the know
of where you are when you have sent
a quest of call, of heaven's bent...

...

We shall see you when you return...

be safe, our Sy...

Sy

I love the title..and of course the poem is lovely...and I sure don't see it's shadow, but it leaves something like it within.

Seymour darling boy this is as always simply perfect. The shadow of beauty is certainly reflected in your beautiful words. You have an uncanny ability to stroke my soul with your writing there’s not that many people whom I allow that close to me.

I wish I had your ability to sketch the scene but since I don’t I shall simply delight in your writing. This is utterly utterly superb writing and of course I love it utterly

Come back soon and be safe darling heart Sending you a softly blown kiss and a hug for such a wonderful piece of writing

Some would say a state of blind

And darn it, everyone I've met has 20/20 vision! LOL

I love every line of this, Seymour... Your work is always exceptional, but some surpass even the high standards you set. *S* This is one... and I shall enjoy it many, many times. *S*

Yes, everyone has a different idea of beauty, but it is always transient, changing form.  Very interesting read.
