(This is a love poe I wrote for my Joanna (RosePetal) who I love so so much and yearn to meet her this summer for the first time and make her happy, just as she always makes me smile when she's around)  She's An Angel (For Joanna) By: Noah Eaton 6/4/02 Staring at her photograph everyday Right when I get up and before I go to bed Hoping this summer everything can work out I can finally hold the hand of Joanna that I love She has the grace of a butterfly of spring She has the smile of a happy prancing fawn She may not have feathers and a halo hanging over her head But she truly is an angel I wish everyone could see She's an angel to me She is as close to perfect as she could be She's an angel to me I long to be in her arms and feel free... Her face is as creamy as tapioca pudding Her lips are glazed with ambrosia She reminds me of a place where every sigh is born The dreams I have of her make up my daily mantra She's an angel to me She is as close to perfect as she could be She's an angel to me I long to be in her arms and feel free... People say we all have a time where we have the right to lose our minds This feels like that time to me But this feels so alright to me Just as long... Just as long... As she feels this love with me... The way she dances is like a swaying sunflower And I am the lucky honeybee kissing her sweet sunshine She may not have feathers and a halo hanging over her head But she truly is an angel I wish everyone could see Can't you see? Can't you see? She's an angel to me She is as close to perfect as she could be She's an angel to me I long to be in her arms and feel free... No one has ever referred to me as an Angel before...this is so touching and precious. My favorite line is "She reminds me of a place where every sigh is born" I love it!!! I'm sorry that I havent been around lately, you know work keeps me busy as a bee. thank you so much dear for this poem. One line was so cute, the one where you said my face is as creamy as tapioca pudding....but tapioca pudding has lumps, are u saying i have pimples? LOL LOL just kidding!  love ya bunches and bunches |
