Deep in the heart

0 posted 2002-06-04 02:42 PM

As we lie side by side,
sharing the early morning sounds,
the soft sunlight,
we harken back to last night
and you ask, “how do you feel me?”
I reply, “with the fingertips of my soul.”
You ask, “how do you love me?”
I reply, “passionately, ardently, and tenderly.”
Last night a wonderful, sensual time
when all of our senses
experienced overload.
There is time for one more
sensory overload.

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Great title.....love the way you brought your feelings to life in poet's language.....
Clever writing...I enjoyed!

Have you been in the raspberry tea? *L*
lovely romantic phrasing and intend here poet sir...an intimate, tender moment captured in verse ... someone was doing some sighing

When mans concern narrows, poetry reminds him the diversity of existence
