Just In Time

I'm working on a higher me that God will surely love
I want to walk every piece of earth with an honest pace
I long to ride every tide that the ocean brings to me
I am ready to witness eternal life written on natures face...

Oh, just look at how I can open my eyes
And, see a clearer brighter light
I'm on a path to better know you and me
And, to love endlessly on into the night...

So, you're just in time to see me fly
When before I couldn't leave the ground
For these wings will lead me to everlasting peace
That my internal " me " has finally found...

You're just in time to see me move in ways
That yesterday I just didn't take the chance
I'm taking in the rhythm today that I failed to feel before
So, you are just in time, my friends, to watch me dance...

I have never heard notes that simply just captured my heart
When before I just never took the time to hear
I rushed through life living my past with my head held low
But, you're just in time to see heartache quickly disappear...

I just know there's miles and miles of untouched land
That waits to be used in whatever happiness can bring
For each single foot print made will break in it's heavenly song
So, you are just in time to hear me sing...

For the sunset finds me still willing to anxiously move on
And, take in that ever gentle evening tune
Swaying softly with it's lullaby playing just for me
You are just in time to see me hold the moon...

The dawn still finds me pleasant when night is done
So, graciously I reach so I can kiss the sun
You're just in time to view eternal energy awhile
So, you're just in time to witness my lifetime smile...

You know there's a lot of heart breaking story poems submitted here and so many  excellently crafted and I appreciate reading them. But I also like it when there's a piece like this that embraces the marvelous gift of life with wonderous positive words.
Exceptional Saunni!
