*the end at the pier*

reflections in a wavy mirror
and this face looks so damn old
and i look out beyond the pier
the world feels like it's whole...
i can still get lost inside your eyes
you perfume smells like good old times
But your hands are cold
and we're not the same
and these unsung words
don't mean a thing.

The dim lights try to pierce the fog
but there's not much there to see.
The rain drifts down, and i close my eyes...
the frigid feeling of being free.
your voice is still inside my head
your laughter still puts me to bed
your the last part of the old life
i been tryin to live in
but this time, i'll close my eyes
and i won't be givin in.

Everything is nothing
when you need every bit of one thing.
The ocean water don't sting
'cause i won't bleed and i won't sing.

My heart begins to paddle out and
I swear to god I'll  make it
and I'll leave you in the wake. it
won't take me
the wave is breaking
and I'll try for the horizon
one last time.

(BIG HUGGGSSSSSSS) This is soooooo sad but filled with hope too, sweet friend, I know you can do it if you always put your heart to it, so go for it and always follow your heart and find magic when you stand off that pier! (sigh) We all believe in you so much, sweet friend, this sounds like such a wonderful challenge, I'll give it a try too, YAY, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Very well written.  The first stanza especially touched my heart.  Keep your spirits up.

smiling here, but also puzzled...it's deja vu all over again!!!

grin...hmmm....if I didn't know better? (and I don't) I'd swear you were a drummer I used to keep time with!

I exit scratching me head. (The only way I could be sure, is if I heard the "solo"...)

grinnin' again--ENJOYED.
