Stirring The Inkwell ...
~*Marge Tindal*~

Part of my passion,
if the true story were told,
is to stir the very inkwell
that holds my poetic soul~

To draw into the quill
my ink to be set free
Dripping across the canvas
in poetic medley of me~

Futuristic phrases
to give this poet measure
Perhaps to live foreverly
as some small attic'd treasure~

Were I to pen a promise
on it you could depend
A tiny thought-o-graph
given friend to friend~

Please take this ink I offer you
press it between the pages of a book
Make me a bookmarked moment
where someday you might want to look~

And in searching I hope that you find
Where poetry lives ... friendship thrives~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Margie girl darling sister of my heart this is utterly utterly wonderful I love it, one of your best I think. So beautifully penned, so full of light and image. It’s utterly utterly divine and I love it utterly utterly love it

The flow of your ink of think will always pour out the beauties of your loving heart, your truthful friendship and your boundless wisdom and grace. Have I left anything out? Only that this is utterly utterly perfect and I love it, oh and you too.

I wub you

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Marge:  Beautiful thoughts and poem.  I especially loved it because I collect old inkwells.  I don't have any like the one in the picture however.......more's the pity!!

Of all the writing implements
Available, I think
There is no finer one than that
Which dips into your ink.

Sometimes words are in lavender,
Sometimes they come out pink
But they are always beautiful
When they are in your ink.

May thoughts stored in your inkwell
Always pour out loud and true
And may I never lose sight of
A quillfriend such as you.

What a beautiful image!
What a beautiful piece!
What a beautiful woman!
what a wonderful friend

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
