The world in shambles
as the New York towers
are sent to the ground.

By two not one hijacked planes.
The country mourns as we try to
pick up the pieces.

A state of shock, of disbelief,
as we stare at our tv screens,
while the rest scramble  for safety.

a state of emergency is at stake
in hopes of getting the victims out alive.

as we prepare a world not quite the same.
in hopes of revenge to strike back against
terrorism.

Kathi, Welcome to Passions!  This is a wonderful entrance, it shows your heart very well, and the compassion shines in your knowledge of events.

Please, Check your E-mail for a Special Greeting!

Kathi~
Welcome to Passions circle of friends and poets~
Nice tribute to the tragedy that was played out before our very eyes, leaving such heartache and disbelief in it's wake~

Welcome to our humble home. You've written about an event that will surely be a benchmark in all our lives. As a teenager, I remember where I was the day President Kennedy was shot. This generation will forever remember where they were when they saw the towers fall. I look forward to reading more from you.
