The Shores of Alone

I took a step backwards today
and tripped over my misplaced dreams
I fell again, contemplating
nothing is ever as it seems.

One day a positive hope glows
the next it's stolen fast away
each night I sleep in lonely bed
and sadly beg my dreams to stay.

I took a step backwards once more
and looked around in confusion
why can't I just walk straight ahead,
is love truly an illusion?

Tomorrow I won't falter thus
I plan to get together now
and make my life a happy place
although I'm sure I don't know how.

Oh Sandra, I know just exactly how this feels. I, too, wish my dreams would stay.

Sandra...

Let the dream
of one's life
flow the stream
without strife

Let the heart
held by one
beat of two
love's begun

Dreams can become realities...We just have to
understand what can only ever be a dream...
and what can be reality...

Patience dear lady...

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sandra, this is so very sad, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you, for I have known this feeling so so much, though I know with all my heart there is a man out there you will find so very soon who will promise you true love always and he will help you always walk forward with trust! (kiss on cheek) This is sadly beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

You’ll find the way Sandra…you’ll find the way. We all must allow ourselves time to mourn those we have lost in our lives (whether through death, or the end of a relationship), then, when we are ready, we find the way to move forward. I know you will…and I know you will find happiness again in your life. Hugs sweetie.

Love that last line, Sandra.  If I find directions, I'll send em to ya!!!

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with

This is such a wonderful and insightful prhase.  I DO wish I had written this!
Sandra, you are well on the way to complete happiness when you can write and understand that about which this piece speaks.
I am SOOOOOOoooooooo proud of you!
