Inside Still Waters Upon wandering along quiet waters she happens upon She finds immense gratitude not expressed through words She ventures deep within to find what she's been holding onto And, it all reveals itself in that reflection of hers... There, he appears when life drags on like a storm on a roll He doesn't let up even if the winds do cease Her image of the part of him, in her, too strong to dismiss She finds a little something missing until his eyes she sees... He even remains in the rippling of tree droppings that surprise the waters That unexpected notion from the overhang and it's shade Not even the interruption or distraction of that waters figure Can chase the very sight of that man away... Inside still waters that lie without a single place to go She searches for what real life can't hand her at those times Gives in completely to the calm the water provides her with And, behind grateful eyes it's the pleasure in the one she finds... For, when she's kneeling or standing it always leads right to him The welcome break between uncertainty and unsure reach their hands Stick like figures drawn of the two being absorbed by the sun Is another souls image to her hearts remains left in the gravel like sands... She only clings to the stillness that can only come from the waters Sure way of nature to share what the days can't provide her How she'd like to drown in that picture of what lies below Cause, at least, inside still waters she wouldn't immerse alone...  (smiles) This is such a gorgeous and mysterious piece, sweet friend, I too see these illusions sometimes in my own heart when I think about the girl Joanna I love so so much who I dream of meeting ever so much, I just wish I could dive into her reflection then I wonder what consequences I may face!
