          Place Where Sigh is Born

There is a place where sigh is born,
for me it came from childhood,  yes,
just at the line between love and trust,
the rocking chair stopped my heart with touch.

The play came so easy, all cuddled and warm,
leaving laughter warn like old lace adorn
on a girl misplaced, this step my heart took
for someone I mistook.

The sigh lasts awhile, I know you see,
for it was born on loving knee gone wrong,
around a lit room of dark wood canopy
a spell of forlorn was given to me.

So, I tell my heart be still,
you are as lovely as the song you sing,
but sometimes I don’t listen to me,
the words are flat,  the touch unreal
and still a cave of darkness I feel.

YAY!!! Oh Martie, this is soooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I believe childhood is the most magical time of all for innocence and sighs to shine, though I believe that magic will always shine in us all! (kiss on cheek) This is breathtaking, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Yes, Martie. I know - I understand and how I feel this.

Thanks for your concern and love today btw...it's really appreciated, and thanks for your poetry...it makes me feel understand lol, if I may so selfishly.

Ah - but that is why you are my poetic counterpart..

awwww Martie.  surely that experience that took the naivity
shall come back to you someday.  It takes the right person
not just to love
but to love BACK, and understand.

the place where sighs are born
are the holes in our life
that need filling.

Martie the only sigh I can inject here is a sigh of pleasure when I read your poetry!
The last verse is where I reassure you that you're right....I know many things happen in this experience called life but truly, you're as lovely as the song(s) you sing!!

Like Nancy Lee, I was left with a sad feeling.  That, however, is in no way a reflection on your superior word weaving

I understand this all too well, Martie... and wish it was just a beautifully written poem that no one ever experienced.

you are as lovely as the song you sing,

Yes... you are.
