standing on a shadow's lace

Gone

somewhere
out of nowhere
on a bright
and shiny day
a terrible
rainstorm
headed
right my way
seems it was
unavoidable
silver tears
again would pour
caught off guard
I wasn’t ready
but some things
you cannot ignore
the only thing
that saved me
in the middle
of this storm
was that a little light
hit the rain
and a precious
rainbow was born
it stood right
in front of me
a true miracle
right there
so I bathed
in the beauty
that it invited me
to share
now
after seeing it
I will never
be quite the same
and then
it was gone
as quickly
as it came

Damn, how perfect is this to my moment?

Starving for truth
Closer where I started
Chasing after you
