Life’s Seasoning

Let’s walk beside times incandescent sea
Leaving footprints there of what might be
Peel away layers of thoughts reasoning
Listen instead to life’s seasoning
Yesterday’s waters wash o’er my soul
Filling up my senses with what is whole
If we walk far enough we’ll get there
We’ll arrive at a place where time is fair

Let’s talk about fate and time passing by
Discover why time seems to just fly
Remove the wrapping we hide our hearts in
Learn much more of this by listening
If we take a chance to hear what is said
We might understand all that we read
Time can guide us to that place of peace
When wars will end and battles will cease

Let’s release our grip on times shifting sand
This is the way to the Promised Land
No written words can beguile us from here
You will see you have nothing to fear
Time works its own way it has its own will
Discard all thoughts of holding it still
Times race isn't won by distance or speed
It’s won by understanding love's seed

Marsha

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

If I wanted to show you which phrase I liked best, I'd need to underline the whole darn thing! Thank you, dear Marsha. This was a message I needed to read today.

Marsha,
You have written I would say an epopee
That looks like a flower and stings like a bee.
