On poetry I stay my morning,  waiting
whisper of a word or two,  anticipating
a thought completing, unadorned
sunlight hair delighting in the warm.

I feel across the day a touch of you,
like glue on skin you stay within my whim
and even brush of careless thought
cannot dislodge the real so brought.

Don’t tell me past this day a song,
for now is where I want to stay
wrapped in cotton warm of door
opening into morning store.

Delight is found in simple lifting places
Where air and song can meet and mingle graces
And pond in moss with orange fish kiss of air
Can open heart and take away despair

Bring me tea and pick an orange of breakfast.
then meet me on the bench beneath the tree,
wrapped in morning glories fragile steadfast
we’ll drink this piece of wonderful that’s free.

Consider it staid
Beautiful piece ... I long for such a place.

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Once again such wonderful scenes painted by your pen!!

"Bring me tea and pick an orange of breakfast.
then meet me on the bench beneath the tree,
wrapped in morning glories fragile steadfast
we’ll drink this piece of wonderful that’s free."

I'll bring some real fine Earl Grey with me! Hope that's OK!

Interloper--Sometimes the place you long for, is no further then your back door.

Eric--Earl Grey is way okay, as long as long as your lyric voice comes with it.

Dave--I think we both live in the state of mind...thanks, my friend.

Sy--but, I am not a spider...just an earth lover.  Always love your replies!

Jimmy--sure, you can come with me, it's in my back yard...but something about the word "sometimes" bothers me.

beautiful place to be Martie.  sounds wonderful!!

Like a red brick,
in a white wall
somebodies brush
forgot to paint...
lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this painted such a beautiful children's book painting in my head, sweet friend, what could be more lovely than spending a day with your loved ones in the glens or valleys and feasting together with nature peacefully? (kiss on cheek) This is breathtaking, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I always know a treat waits for me, just beyond the click on your name. *S* But the tranquility of your morning is is just what I needed this afternoon. *S* Beautiful!

"Sometimes" is the only word I can gracefully use in context with "dishes" and "laundry" as I get this rash, you see, when I do too much of either...cooking now - I do that on a regular basis (I'm chief cook around the house) - daily, in fact.

Gentle Spirit--Some may not fine it such, but for me...yes.  You saw my love there.

Nancy--I think we all have our own special, magic places.  I'm glad you liked mine.

Startime--So glad to see you here!

Noah--A child would love it...and she will when she gets a bit older (my grandaughter)..thanks!

Suthern--If I brought some tranquility to your afternoon, then I'm happy!

Lyra--as are yours, and your replies!

Jimmy--A cook is good...yup!

And as the flowers bloom over the field
of freshness..
And the morning bright releases the
dew of cover.

So writes the peaceful and relaxing words
of our resident wordsmith...

Thanx Martie..

BUMP...
