In the depths of my heart
I feel your essence peel out of me
And pour right onto my soul
I know something is holding me back
From what we could have
Maybe it is the stress of life
Or maybe it is simply us
Threw the twist and turnds of each other

I want to turn the page
On the book of life
And write everything down
To show you what is held
Deep inside so then you understand
Why I keep it all so hidden
Under my lock and key
In the depths of my heart
