sidewalk
is an empty purse
in a thrift store attic
scent of old buildings
along weathered lining
footstep memories
dust size pieces

light poles
some god's trees
now wounded soldiers
with one open eye
and breasts punctured
with nail arrows
from weekend warriors
that sell garage treasures
to the blind addicts

store front windows
shadows with neon tattoos
of women's shoes
and nail plastics
the residue
of smoker's cough
and auto exhaust
in a toxic brown raincoat

black cat
with electric fur
and gear grease
from a fender well bed
licks it's paw
watches traffic signal colors
turn from green to red
does the homeless pose
for the lady with onion breath
accepts part of a bagel
with a not hungry yawn

paper man limps
as he opens his castle
john deere green
and smoked oysters
in a kitty bowl
newspapers fresh sexed
with ink
and gore ratings
olympic pictures
are momma heirlooms
sitting in front
of bald man sex
and penthouse .......

Wow, powerful images; a well described world; to sit on a park bench and to watch it unfurl - A vision I never dull of ... A great read so vivid yet deep at the same time . Loved it .

Good eye for observation, D.

Know you don't generally use punctuation, but this one might shine even brighter with it.

has...
