Iron nerve too.. You mesmerized me here.. . This one progressed so slowly and elegantly seemed as if the sub was a dolphin. Really enjoyed this view of you poet!I know all about them sticky buns. I once told my mom..(being that my father was a Navy man)..that I wanted to be a cocktail waitress on a submarine..she didn't find that funny.

Sincerely,
Reg

This indeed a treat to read; I'm  glad you added it to your post.  Well done!

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
